Leslie Hall

Leslie Hall is a lovely heritage building on the grounds of St. James Anglican Church  maintained by the church.

Leslie Hall was opened in 1908 and named in memory of  Robert Leslie who had been superintendent of Sunday School for 50 years.

The hall is a  busy place being used by church groups, community groups and various individuals.  Community Churches run a Friendship Luncheon at the hall every Friday at noon providing a nourishing lunch and companionship.

The building has a stage and balcony. Full kitchen facilities are provided and maintained by the Anglican Church Women’s organization ready for anyone to use for small or large functions. A ramp to the main entrance was installed in 2011 to allow access for the disabled.

We can accommodate a sit-down dinner for between 100 and 110 and can accommodate more than that for a concert or reception.

Inquiries concerning use of Leslie Hall and its facilities may be directed to the Church Office at 613-258-2562 or by e-mail.
